Best Buddies – is an international non-profit organization with the mission of establishing a global volunteer movement that creates opportunities for one to one friendships, integrated employment and leadership development for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.  In middle schools, Best Buddies operates as a student-run friendship club, which creates buddy pairs between students with and without disabilities.
By joining Best Buddies, you will become part of a growing movement of people with and without disabilities, dedicated to ensuring everyone has the opportunity to have a friend.  You will be invited to group activities planned by students and the faculty advisor.  At least four group activities are held each year both in school and outside of school.  Some examples are pizza parties, bowling outings, kickball games, and ice cream socials.  Most importantly, you may be “matched” in a one to one friendship with another middle school student.  If you are interested in being a part of Best Buddies please click on the link below.

Sweat – Starts with Exercise, Attitude and Teamwork – is an early morning fitness program where ANY Stilwell student can participate.  The gym will be open for some pickup games or to work on some skills you’d like to improve.  The weight room will also be open to get your cardio up.  These two things are open from 6-7 am, and the programs runs any day school is in session.  You can attend any part of it or the entire hour.  It’s fun and gets your day started on the right track.  Please meet at the main gym doors in the music and PE hallway each morning.
